It was a good weekend
I drove 185 miles to pickup a 2004 Cypress Pearl LS430 with 82k miles:
- 1 owner with perfect lexus service records
- other than floor mats very clean inside and outside
- the only issue is the passenger door lock actuator not working - not sure If I'll try the $5 motor route or $150 ebay actuator - but I definitely will not be going to the dealer to drop $720
the only question I have - it came with 4 keys - they all start the car - but only one of them (original master key) works in smart key mode - does the other master key need to be programmed at the lexus dealer or am I out of luck?
cheers!

Very nice and welcome. The door lock actuator motor replacement works very well. Just take your time when doing the replacement. You can also pick yourself up a copy of Toyota Techstream and a mini vci cable (about $25) and program the keys yourself as well as being able to customize all the settings and read any trouble codes. Check out the FAQ sections as well.
Welcome aboard friend, I purchased mine a little less than a month ago and it's been great overall. It looks like we both have the sport package.
When I bought mine the driver's side door lock actuator wasn't working. There is a step by step DIY article here that helped a lot with taking apart the door and tackling it. It can be aggravating but for a cheap $10 fix vs over $700 the choice was clear for me.
Here is what will pop in and work perfectly.
