I've had a difficult time finding an OEM trunk mat for my 05. There are plenty of aftermarket mats available but I guess I'm a little **** retentive and wanted the genuine Lexus article.

Turns out they are very hard (read impossible) to find now with a really ratty used example showing up on eBay recently for $45.

I couldn't find exactly the right mat but I did manage to find one from OEMLexusParts.com which is for the LS430 'with cooler' so it's cut a little different at the far end of the trunk. They wanted $47.26 for it plus $15 shipping so it's a pretty good deal, particularly when compared to the Lloyd mats etc that retail for $120+.

Anyway, when I was searching for a suitable mat I had a problem finding any photos of this particular mat online so thought I'd post it up here so everyone can see how it fits. I think it's acceptable - maybe I'm not so **** retentive after all! Also, the color is not a great match for my trunk carpet although it is very close to the sound deadening trim on the trunk lid.

The mat was delivered in it's original sealed plastic wrapping with a production date of 11/16/2003. Part number is PT208-50035-02.

I'm thinking that there are not too many of these still available. Might want to get one while you still can.

Great minds think alike! I added the same pic as above to the bottom of your thread so that anyone pulling that thread up through search can see a photo of the UL mat in a non-UL trunk.

Phil, fyi ...the non-UL trunk mat is the same color as the UL mat, so the color mismatch is factory correct. I think these type of accessories are starting to become scarce or unavailable now that the last model year of the 430 is over 8 years old.
