My buddy has an 05 ML and his windows will roll down completely and he is not able to stop them in between I think that's what he said on 3 of 4 windows. Any ideas? Thanks Warm

 

I recently had the same problem with my 2 front windows. The lexus dealership said that the motor and regulator was weak because the aftermarket tint I had done on it about 2 years ago was causing excessive load. Luckily for me, I had the lexus extra care warranty and they replaced the motor and regulator for both windows.

 

Sounds like the switch itself.

 

The reasoning by the dealership with your tint as a cause for your issue sounds bizarre.

 

Good you got them to cover it!! I always thought mods which caused a probelm voided a warrantee,?
