I've never had anyone care, also might have something to do with me mentioning my concealed weapon(s) prior to being asked, again showing an effort to acknowledge officer safety. If cops are relaxed, you'd be surprised what they'll let slide.
On the other hand... It's not the best idea, and can cause other issues, but you have zero responsibility to self-incriminate(comply if officer asks to roll window up, decline instead).
Here in Virginia they see that you have a concealed carry permit as soon as they run the plates and usually it's the first thing they ask about .
I apologize in advance and do not intend to hijack this thread. Just one question. Do any LS430 owners with tint ever experience any reflections of the wood on your dash or a/c vents showing in the outside mirror during sunlight? Thanks all.

I get all my tint done from my boy Binh at http://phprotection.com/, and I think it's suntek tint.
Thanks for the reply. I'll see if I can get some of that tint for my other LS.

I get the reflections on my 02 LS430 with 35% tint. I don't get it on my 05 which has 5% and 35% on the front windshield.
Here is a pic of my two LS430's. The 02 has 35% tint I think. It's pretty light but I like it because it has a classy look to it.
My 05 has 5% all around with 35% on the windshield. With the sunshades up the windows are black and it's impossible to see inside. I typically put 5% or 15% on all my cars since I like my privacy.
