Default Car leak..

So I parked my car today to go into a local store and on my way back out I noticed a leak under the middle of the car, more towards the front passenger wheel. I backed up and dabbed the substance with my finger, I am pretty sure it is water. Does this mean my water pump needs to be replaced? I have an 2002 LS430 with 52,000 miles. Just bought it from the dealership. None of the dashboard lights has come on. I didn't get a chance to further investigate under the hood, but I will. Let me know what you guys think.

if the water pump were leaking it would be coolant. in your case it ought to be red.

99% sure it was just the ac. If you didn't have the ac on at all then it could be coolant.

Red- coolant that has a sweet smell and feels like water.
Red- oily residue and is either power steering or tranny fluid.
Clear-AC/condensation being drained off from the evaporator. This is just about even with the engine firewall.

With the humidity in HI, run the A/C and look under the car for the water drops that drain when the system is on. This is normal operation and the water will be cold as well. Humid climates you can fill a 8 oz glass in short time.

Thanks for the replies guys. After looking at it further and discussing it with some coworkers. Figured it was the AC condensation. It was definately water and I was running my AC shortly after turning the ignition off. I guess I was just super sketched out at how much water was leaking out. Some of my friends say I worry about my Lexus WAY to much.. Can't help it when I love my car lol.
