Kira was 100% correct , 4.5 inch tips are a great choice, they look HUGE sitting on your table but once they are installed they are a good size.

I also bought a set of 3 inch tips and they look very tiny , I didn't like it at all, so they are going for sale.

Anyways I did it all myself and Im really happy with the way it turned out.

I used a dremel to cut out the holes in the bumper, as well as cut off some of the extra hardware on the muffler that is in the way.

 

The pic is a little dark for me. Did you cut out the bottom section of the rear bumper to get the 460 exhaust tips to fit?

Any info on install would be appreciated.

Yup stock bumper, had them cut to fit but they had to fill in some gaps with bondo/fiberglass.

 

I must say, that looks absolutely fantastic!

really updates the car and really improves the lines in the back!

2006 LS430, Plasti Dipped Rear Valence, Nissan Murano/Maxima OEM exhaust tip.

 

I'm hoping the owner of this car still here....wondering if you had to cut anything to fit these tips ? or maybe anyone knows ?

 

99% sure they cut the bumper, where the tips exit. The stock clearance does not come that high up on the bumper on 01-03 I don’t think.
