What did you do to your LS430 today?
First time owning an AGM battery. The price was around $60 more than a regular lead acid battery. My previous battery lasted only 3 years and 2 months. I was looking for something that would last longer. Reading about your battery lasting 3 years is not very promising.
I'm in a similar boat myself. The only AGM I had prior to the one I bought for my LS430 last year was the one that came with my BMW and it lasted over seven years. I kept getting bad Interstate batteries from Costco and got tired of swapping them out every six months. I put a Duracell AGM in the GS300, LS430, and my SC300. I'm hoping to get better luck than I was getting with the Costco Interstate batteries as only one out of the dozen or so I've had lasted the length of the warranty.

CEL popped on with a P0051 B2S1 heater circuit code Tuesday morning halfway to work. Replaced the original 201,000 mile upstream sensors today, problem solved!
I also saw the exposed shielding on the OXSA wire, thought it was a spliced wire, pulled the harness up through the engine bay, and put some heat shrink over it. Also soldered the wire for the radio interference capacitor under the vanity cover back together, looked mouse-chewed.
Lastly, found a new coolant leak from what I assume is a casting clean out port for the block. It just took a bit of RTV after I cleaned it up, Lexus does t list a gasket for it.
I removed the snow tires yesterday. I have the AS4's as my summer tires and they were at 4/32" after 23k miles--clearly will not make it to 40k. Rotated/balanced by Costco.
There isn't any practical way to subtract the miles put on the snows, other than buying the snows from Costco and having them do it.
I went 1,250 miles so it won't be too costly. By my calculations under $30 lost when they wearout and I do a pro rata warranty claim. I love the way the AS4's handle but the short tread life is too expensive on a 20 y.o. LS imho....
