I am the proud owner of a 2001 ls430
my car has the mark levinson sound system and I am having the usual trouble with the amplifier not working
one of the club members on the uk forum is kindly having a look at it for me
if it can't be fixed I wondered if there were any aftermarket sound systems that could replace it on your side of the pond?
I have searched and searched over here and found nothing, also to buy a 2nd hand ML amp is so expensive and there is no guarantee that the same thing won't happen after a short while

Going aftermarket requires the whole system to be replaced and you will loose functionality. The most cost effective solution is to either locate a used amp or have your existing amp repaired. Check out the Levinson website for a list of authorized repair facilities and call local electronic repair shops. You should be able to fix the amp for much less the replacing the whole system.
