Default Some interior detailing

I finally had the chance to clean up the interior in my new 2006 LS which I purchased on November 26. I was told by the selling dealer that the car was detailed and I could tell that it really wasn't a thorough job done and if they did do a detailing job they must of used amateurs in the field. It's amazing how taking your time with the right products makes a huge difference. Now I feel much better driving the car because I know the interior has been thoroughly cleaned up. You never know what the previous owner may have done inside the car. Get my drift? Lol! I used the Leatherique cleaner followed with the Lexol leather conditioner. I'll have to post some pictures later as we're getting hit with a lot of rain in this area.

Happy holidays to you all!

Lexus leather is finished with a polyurathene finish, which protects the leather and consequently they only recommend washing with a clean cloth. Harsh chemicals can damage and even remove the finish. Conditioners really don't do anything other than make the interior smell nice. I used Letherique cleaner on my SC400 and the leather completely deteriorated within a few months. User beware. Follow the owner's manual for long life care.
