LED DRLights
I purchased LED running lights, not as a replacement to the parking lights, but as an addition.
Can I lift out the fuse box on my 2004 LS430 to gain access to the parking light fuse to connect?
Please advise how to remove fuse box.
Malcolm.

Great! I'm glad I could help. One more "trick" of using fuse taps in an engine compartment fuse box is to fish the wire you want to connect to the fuse tap up from an existing opening in the bottom of the fuse box rather than notching the plastic fuse box cover or housing and potentially allowing water to enter through the notch.
My favorite "tool" for fishing wires like this short distances into fuse boxes, through car doors, etc. is a 12 inch flexible plastic cable tie. To illustrate, the attached photo shows my Prius DRL wire kit yellow "hot wire" coming up through an existing opening in the bottom of the Prius fuse box. My 2000 LS400 fuse box has similar openings at the bottom of the fuse box and I suspect that most Toyota engine compartment fuse boxes also do.

Dear Jim,
I did intend to pull the wire up through the bottom of the fuse box. The LS430 box does have a small entry in the base. Thank you again for your info and intrest .
Regards,
Malcolm.
