HI all LS lovers.
I read somewhere that replacement cost for the Nav/AC/Audo display unit will run in thousands (and i don't doubt that) and pretty much render the car useless in regards to controlling interior comforts.
Does anyone have any idea as to how often this happens or has this happened to any one of your LS???

I have yet to see a thread about it. Even in the LS400 forums.

 

I had screen display problems, where I would get messages like "Check the System" or "Check connection of the air conditioner" or "External system not connected" Took it to the dealer and had them replace the screen under my extended warranty.

My navigation unit was replaced prior to my ownership but I see the bill of $6500 in Lexus records. It was due to crack in the glass and it was due to a minor accident.
So make sure you have good collision coverage.
