Smart key problem
Hi guys,
A few weeks ago my smart key stopped working on my 06 LS430 (ML package):
In order to start the car I have to insert the key into ignition, in order to open the car I have to press the button on the key (not just to have the key in my pocket like before)
The battery in the key has been recently replaced.
Anyone knows what is going on?

does your other smart key work?if you only have that one you may have pushed the smart key button under the dash.there are 2 buttons around where your right knee would be when driving,look under the dash and push the button closest to you and see if it works.the other button resets the tire pressure light.i think you will hear a beep when you push the button,if that button doesnt do anything try the other button.i may be backwards on the buttons but it will not hurt anything if you push the tire reset button.
