Hello all Lexus owners,
I have a 2006 Lexus LS430. I got bored of the very outdated looking Navigation screen, it is just old. The colors are weird and it feels like watching a 240p video clip.
So my questions are:
Is the screen itself, a really good and high definition screen that can be able to be modded to watch a movie for example? But it only looks this bad because it is out dated.
I wanted to know how the update works?
I mean is it going to change the lay out or format of the menus and all options?
Or will it be only updating the maps and adding new street names and restaurants etc. Just map information?

I visited this website where they offered 2013 Navigation update for LS430. It's for 50 bucks. But I like to see things before I buy them, but sadly the website has no pictures.
If anyone has the time, it would be great if they can show us how the most recent updated navigation looks like.

I have another question which is off topic, but oh well, you guys are the Lexus experts.
My tail lights seem not to be bright anymore?
Do they get unclear by time? And is there a way to wash them an make them all shiny back again?



So I'd appreciate it if I'd get some help on that.
