Hello! I'm attempting to install a rear air strut in my 05 LS430. When I took out the rear passenger side seat, all that is behind it is a steel wall. I've always heard that you have to take out the rear seat to install them, but I cant find where the strut is actually mounted to the car. Any one with some insight on where this is located would really help me in a pinch. Thanks !!

That is correct, you do have to take the back seat out. I watched my friend take the rear strut out on my car and it was somewhere behind the back seat. I think it was under the speakers.

I'm pretty sure there was a thread that showed where it was but I can't seem to find it.
