Fuel Door will not lock
All
Went to my 2006 ML today to move my car (left on the uncovered area of the parking deck for a pollin wash during the rain here in Atlanta), and I noticed my fuel door slightly open. So I push it closed, and got in and moved my car. Got out of the car and noticed that it was open again. After investigating, I noticed that the spring that comes out that catches the door lock was stuck in. So I went to the trunk to pull out the lexus toolkit to use some pliers to see if I needed to pull it out. When I returned, the spring was fully released as it should be. So I closed the fuel door and it locked as it should. I played with the unlock switch inside the car a few times and it appeared to be okay. 5 minutes later, the fuel door was open again. Anyone experience this? Could it be just a fuse or something more serious? May seem minor but I don' t trust people when my fuel door is open.
Thanks in advanced.
