Default Low speed clunk

When reversing out of my drive way and doing a sharp turn to the left I get this odd clunk. Same with turning into a parking spot at low speed, again it clunks, its quite an audible clunk.

Not a drop link type of clunk, more of a steering rack clunk. And it's really a one off clunk.

Tyres are all fine and the correct size.
No other nosies at any speed, no noises with aggressive turns at high speed or gentle turns.

Very strange. Are there steering rack bushes or any common issue I should be aware of.

It has 83k on it.

I did spot this

I get that same clunk when turning the wheel and reversing out of the driveway in my 2005 GS 430. I can't replicate mine either. That video def looks like you have some play in your steering rack bushings. I think somebody makes Poly's to replace those rubber stockers. i'm going to try the poly's in mine and see if it helps. i can't figure out what makes the noise and 3 different shops have shaken down my front end and found nothing wrong....

I had strange clunking sounds at very low speeds on sharp turns. That was diagnosed as lower control arm bushings. They were replaced and that fixed the problem. This occurred at 88,000 miles on my 04 UL.

Does your wheel return to center? I agree, steering rack bushings.

There is a common clunk sound that happens when the car starts moving, caused by the clips on the brake pads. It's easily fixed by getting the "fit kit" for about ten bucks or so. The clunk sound comes from the brake pads moving within the caliper. Another common clunk is caused by a worn lower control arm bushing, usually heard when pulling into a parking spot with the wheel turned.
