I just used the wiring diagram for my car if you search online you can find the one for your specific vehicle and it will show the colors for the subwoofer wires. It will be different for every model vehicle and stock system. I have the Levinson system.

hey did you use the stock mount to mount your sub? or did you screw directly into the metal on the top deck? I just installed a polk audio sub and wired it in seres and it is clipping the stock ML amp at high volume. I am looking to do this exact same setup. Great write up. Should only be a couple hour install. What is the big red power cord for tho? Cant you just run the acc power from the fuse box to power the amp?

The sub i have has a heavy rubber surround that it fits into, which i screwed directly into the rear deck.

The 2AWG wire is the power wire for the amp ran to the battery. The amp I'm using is pushing 500w at 1ohm thus you cannot tap into the existing fuse panel. I could have used 4AWG, but as stated I set it up for possible expansion as well.

I have http://www.emfcaraudio.com/sundown-a...ual-2/#reviews and I'm gonna try it out here in the next few months. The sundown subs are known for sounding twice their size. I'll post some more pics.
