My Nav system 'broke'
Background:
So my OEM battery on my '03 finally died a few weeks ago. Jump started it and took it down to Sears and had 'em throw in a new battery. All's good though I had to, obviously, reset a lot of the electronics back to where I had them.
Went on a roadtrip this past weekend and had to extensively use the Nav system. Come to find out that, now, I can completely manipulate the Nav system WITH THE CAR IN MOTION. This has never been the case until now. Everything seems to work fine except that the Nav lockout is no longer active. I'm happy and I ain't touchin' a thing, just wanted to see what others thought of this ... wondering if there's a way to do this to any car? Nearest I can tell is that the change happened when the battery was replaced.
