Video on Replacing hood\trunk struts on 2004 LS
Does anyone have a video on replacing hood\trunk struts? I've seen some previous posting describing the process but if anyone has video it would be helpful

Video might be overkill.
With someone I trusted holding the trunk up on my 2003 LS430 with 70k miles on it , I simply popped the old struts off by prying the snap rings off with a screwdriver. i popped the new ones on, lower attachment first. Total time five minutes. New snap rings come attached to the new struts.
I bought my struts on Ebay - Ebay Motors with the title:
Two USA-Made Trunk Lift Supports (Shocks/Struts/Arm Props/Gas Springs) 6415
$39. No tax. No shipping costs. Came in a week. Work great!

I ordered some replacement trunk lift supports from these guys. There is a video for installation under their FAQ section. It is not for a Lexus, but installation is the same.

I looked at my hood struts and they do not have a clip at the ends.. It just looks like one solid piece and sticking out from the end is a pin and it looks like a nut at the end. I am wondering if my 2004 LS 430 could have a strut type that you remove by unscrewing it. Anyone familiar with this kind of strut?
