Default Understeer

I'm a long-time Miata driver, so l appreciate a good handling car. I love our LS, but it has a little more understeer than I prefer. I have the std. susp. with 16" tires. I have seen reference to a rear sway bar. Is that an aftermarket part? Who sells it?
I prefer to keep the 225/60/16s for ride and aesthetic reasons. Is there an all- season HP tire for this car that will remove a little of the mushiness in the handling? I don't want to sacrifice too much treadlife, but just want a little more responsiveness.

Don't know about the sway bar, I think the aftermarket is available, but tires you pretty much have to go somewhere where they let you try them for a period of time with free upgrade/downgrade, like Discount Tire.
Reason is, it seems like most if not all tire manufacturers are constantly messing with us, yea I know another conspiracy theory ha.....
I happen to like the Pirelli P4 when I put them on my wife's Camry, but the next time I put them on the same car they felt completely different and wore off faster even with the higher UTQG value. Similar has happened with me when I was using two sets of Kumho KH16 tires on my other car.
What tire do you have on now?

You can upgrade the rear swaybar to that used in the sport suspension package. Sewell has it. I believe you can also find upgraded aftermarket front and rear swaybar bushings. Upgrading to 18" wheels with shorter sidewalls should also help.

if you just want tires Michelin MXV4 V rated is crisper than H and is the standard on this forum in a touring tire, the GY Comfortred is decent also, and up the ladder in Michelin (Pilot series) will cost more, drive crisper and wear faster.

Thanks. I had been leaning toward the MXV4 Michelin and thought part of my problem might be the H rated Bridgestones that are now on the car.
