well i'm alive and kickin ^ ^ ^
the food has been the best part about being back so far. i've just been eating as much delicious food as i can so far. going to a beach cleanup and free reggae concert today.
i just ordered a Rockford Fosgate T2D212 (12" sub that runs as 1200 watts rms and weighs 55 lbs) and a Rockford Fosgate T1500-1bdCP amp that runs at 1500 rms to push it. if they hook it up right it should be one monstrous sounding sub-woofer.

thanks, but just wait till you see the full blown spread
the car really isn't that much different at all from our LS's (or well my old LS ) to me its sort of like if a 2gs and a LS430 had a kid and it got the looks from the LS 430 side but the size and athleticism from the GS side. since its a new to me car and an a year newer than my previous LS in my mind its sort of like the LS460 i always wanted but since i was never crazy about the LS460 and i am crazy about the crown i feel like its a win win.

just picked up the car. it took a week for it to be ready. japan is funny like that, but they sure did fix everything i asked for, detailed it inside and out, and delivered as promised, so bigups to my new vip car friend at Garcia's. he told me about the local vip meets when and where, but i don't speak much japanese at all and i'm sure my wife would absolutely love to translate all night
more to come. sub & amp on the way, wheels on the way, air susp cups to be ordered soon.
so far i just had them install the 3k hid fogs and lower it some more.
and yeah i guess i know its not an ls430 but i don't believe we have a crown section on CL yet
btw i love this car. the stock stereo is pretty damn good and reminds me of the nakamichi in my old gs400 but a little better and tighter. even though this crown athlete is only a 3.0 v6 ( i was a little worried going from the 4.3 v8, it still has 6 gears and has some very torque-y low end acceleration to it.)

funny that you say that. i drove the car around a bunch last night, trying to find anything wrong with it and the only thing that came up so far is that i think the front rotors are slightly warped,, plus the drivers headlight isn't aimed as high as the passengers but now i'm just nitpicking. they told me to take it back or tell them when i go back for the air susp install and they will fix/replace anything i find at that time. now how is that for customer service on a 6 year old used car?
i think your bbk would cost a little more than i need right now. if i lived in germany trust that i would be aiming for this direction, however with a max speed of 60km/h on island which is what like 35mph, bbk is not very functional, but very pretty though
