Head Unit Not Functioning

I had to jump start my 2001 LS Ultra yesterday morning and now none of the controls on the head unit will respond. The radio is on and I can only control it through the audio functions of the nav unit. Thanks for any help or suggestions on a fix.

Try unplugging it and then reconnecting it

I'd try the battery first for like 10-20 minutes. Unplugging the unit is hard to get to...
