Also think about when the coilovers actually need rebuilt, most options stateside are $100-150 per damper. Keep in mind that the CS line from Tein aren't able to be rebuilt by TeinUSA, they must go to Japan unless things changed since I last owned a set.
My experience doesn't reflect the 20-30k rebuild mileage on coilovers either, more like 60k+.
Thats good to know. I had coils on my is300. I dont know if the ls430 would mask the loss in ride quality better then the is300 did. What coil overs did you have that lasted 60k?

Only problem is that out rears are under the rear seat so u gotta take out the rear seat to get to the rear coil damper adjustment. I have mines set very soft, I wonder if this will increase the life
You can get extenders that will poke out the back. Not the cleanest solution but better than taking the back seat out every time you want to adjust them.
Ive have numerous pairs 25 - 30k seem to be what I get on them in NYC. Ive spoken to people who have blown megans in a year.
i am in between wheels again and put the stock wheels back on plus raised the car up a little. it feels really off balance and my boy who has run a few shops in the past said it just need to be corner balanced since i've raised and lowered it so many times that it is just not in synch any longer. it still feel really tight, just slightly off center if you know what i mean.
apparently its like $400 just to get a proper center corner balance thing so who knows, but i think i will go this route when i get the new wheels on.
