Was thinking bout getting a SS Pro Kit for my ride. But do I need it and will it help ? Right now i'm on airrunners air bags., w 20x9 fr , 20x11.5 R. and i like to drive it LOW. Can anyone tell me if I really need this or not installed.
The SS Kit lowers your car an additional 30mm. It does this by repositioning some suspension components and is mostly used by UL owners with factory air suspension. This allows factory air users to ride lower without running at quite as low bag pressure. If you find that your air runner setup needs to ride at a low pressure to ride extra low, you may find some benefit in running an SS kit.
Be forewarned that the regular SS kit may move your front wheel about 10mm off center towards the rear of the car. Some users may not experience issues, but those riding extra low or 21" wheels or larger may experience clearance issues. The SS Kit Pro fixes this off center problem with replacement lower ball joints.
Thanks for the info Waijai. I do drive my car low most of the time, but like you said it's a great advantage for the UL owners. Mine is a Base model using air runners. I'll think about it and I might just do that lasting benefits for me..
