I don't think you will find that many old timers on forums in general. Here in Florida, I would say about 95% of every LS430 I see driven is by a grey haired owner.

That's been my general observation too, although I haven't had much time to be observing. When we bought our LS early in 2011, we started keeping a sharp eye out for other Lexus LS's. In all those months we have only ever seen 12 others either parked somewhere or on the road. One was a 400; 3-4 were 430's; the balance were all 460's. And the drivers we saw all looked older than my 39 years.

BTW, by contrast, we've seen scads of other Lexus models all over Florida--it's only this model that's been hard for us to spot. Perhaps that's due to its expense. The local Lexus dealership is constantly advertising on TV stations here, but of all the possibly hundreds of ads I've seen by them, I've never once noticed them mention the LS--usually just the IS or ES or RX, I'd say....

67 years young, and four years into my 2001.

Already scoping out my next Lexus: 2008 LS 460 golden almond over cashmere.

I have an 04 with Bluetooth, but I wanted streaming capability so I went with one of the Parrot systems - 9100. It works really well for voice and media. The wireless remote sticks to the console right by the sunshade button, and the display sits on the right lip of my dashboard. It will also let you hook up and ipod/phone, thumb drive - all at the same time and let you toggle between the sources. The mic is wired under the windshield molding, so all you see is a mic poking out above and to the left of the rear view mirror.

2004 LS bought it for my 25th Birthday in 2004. I am now 32. Most likely will keep it many years to come.
