I've been following his build on the VSC forums for awhile and wow it got a whole lot better from what it was when he first got the car. Great build hopefully in the future ill at that status.

Meh.... Way too busy. I wouldn't feel comfortable driving it in public. Then again I'm 36 yrs old

JunJDM I think your car looks better. More tasteful mods. The wheels are PERFECT. Not a fan of the green fog lights

can someone ask GATO or share their opinion on grinding down of the wheels back-pad?? i need a few mm of additional clearance on my front and was considering shaving 5mm off the front back pads... i have the brake clearance.

just want to know if this compromises any part of the wheel or would make a wobble or anything??? thank you,

look so BOSS (gato's and the others) by the way

If you have enough clearance AND it doesn't compromise the lug nut seating area, you should be okay. I'd take it to a reputable machine shop and ask their opinion on it. I know GATO wanted to take off a specific amount but wasn't able to because of safety reasons.

how do you know if it will compromise the lug nut seating area??

also if i am presently at a good riding height were i only rub (front) when turning the wheel very sharply and hitting bumps, or if someone heavy is sitting on the passenger side (200 or more lbs) and i turn into a driveway, if i take off 5mm from the back pad (front) does this mean i can only go 5mm lower?? i'm hoping that 5mm is the secret number to where i can go say a half inch lower in the front and do the same in the rear also. but i guess there is no way of knowing until i try it out and see huh???

sorry for thread jacking but i noticed that gato had this done on his wheels so i was hoping to get some good info about doing it on mines.
