Engine knock!

Default Engine knock!
I stored my ls430 for several months and when I finally started it, the motor is now knocking. Could it be an oil or gas problem?

may be bad gas,sitting too long?put some fresh in and see what happens

Is it lower end? Are you sure it's not a lifter that's not getting oil? This is the first I've ever heard of a knock in the motor. If anything it would pay to drain the oil to see if it's lifter related.

If you did not put gas stabilizer in tank prior to storage, definitely get some new gas. I'd also change the oil asap after months of storage.
