Default Aux input for 2002 LS 430

I am thinking of installing the Vais Tech SLU universal aux adapter. Has anyone installed this and if so, has it done all you wanted it to? I plan to use it primarily for connecting my Droid phone so I can handle phone calls and music playback thru my Mark Levinson nav system.

Also I heard that you can program the nav "I agree" screen to de-activate with the Vais Tech system.

Any tips on dash removal / installation for the installation of the SLU?

Yes. I just installed this on my 2004 LS430. Works great. I first bought another brand on Ebay but it was a nightmare. SLU works great. The only issue I had was running the wire from the back of the dash into the glovebox. After cutting my hand and running out of energy I ended up removing the CD player and placing the SLU right up front. Here is the link on removing the dash. Make sure you use the posterboard putty to avoid losing any screws

The VisaTech does everything you could want. I managed to run the wire from the back of the dash when the nav was out and into the glovebox, allowing the unit to be installed below the CD changer. This hides everything and you can keep the iPod in the glovebox on the shelf. You don't need to access the iPod, as all controls are in the dash and steering wheel. It comes on automatically when you select it and is charged when the car is running. No need to touch it until you want to take it out and add or change music.

Highly recommend a VisaTech for every LS.
