Repairing radiators is not always the best route these days as more than likely there are other weak links within. It's still 10+ years old with over 100k. Although our radiators can last the life of the car, this Florida tank did not make it that far. It's like trying to patch an old home A/C coil. In addition removing and replacing the radiator is more than likely 1-2 hours of labor and the cost of a replacement radiator starts at around $100+. It would probably pay to replace the radiator once it is already out. The only good thing is that it's an extremely slow leak where the coolant level has remained stable. Thanks for the imput but there aren't really any specialty radiator shops like the "good old days". That's too bad, but shops need to do more than one type of repair to stay in business and radiators are now plastic and disposable.
