Default Blue tooth help Please

2004 LS 430
I can't make the blue tooth system work. I have paired up two different cell phones to my car. Both dial out and I can hear them fine It acts like I have Muted the car mic. I can receive a call, hear the caller fine. They can't hear me. I have the Nav system and I turn the mute to off.
The people I got the car from never used BT. Is it me or the car?
Any help would be great.
Chuck

Do a search. There's a sub menu where you can adjust your mic. Something about turning on and off your headlights 3 times.

Hi guys. I had previously found the post about the "secret page" (way cool). I should have posted that, sorry. I found the values set at zero. I thought that was it! I set both to 5, no change. still acts like Mic is not working? Reset back.

On that page I also found a Mic test? It was for recording voice for the Nav system. I couldn't get it to work?

I love this site. Lots of good info. I have only had the car for 20 hours. The car is in new condition with just a couple small problems. I would rather die than than have to go to the dealer.

It has so many options I keep thinking that I'm missing somthing on this BT?
Thanks Chuck

Sounds like your mic is shot. I'd start by taking apart the top visor thing where the mic is and see if there's any visual problems.
