Default brakes

I was considering doing my brakes. Is it really necessary to turn the rotors and what is the thing with new rotor bolts. Is Toyota really this hard up for money?

If your steering wheel shudders when you brake, then I suggest you get the rotors cut. In that case, Toyota recommends (any many here will too) that you buy new caliper bolts. If you are just changing the pads you do not need to remove the calipers or the bolts, so no need to change them.

My first time around I ordered all new bolts when I did my brakes, but next time I will skip that step.
