Default Up close and personal with an LS460 for a few day.

One of the benefit of doing detailing part time out of my garage is that once in a while I get to spend a whole lot of time getting to know cars I hope to own in the future. Had the pleasure of keeping an Ls460 for 2 days. I'm not going to go into a lengthy side by side comparo with my Ls430. I can say it is definately THE NEXT LEVEL. The transition from Ls430 to Ls460 is so dramatic. Makes the jump from Ls400 to Ls430 seem subtle. I really didn't get to drive it like I want but I can tell you it definately has road presence. Lower to the ground and wide. A punchier ML system and a far more advanced Nav system with a more " livelier" female voice. The interior felt far more elegant. Loved the exterior expecially the rear end with the flush exhaust tips. The stock 18" brings down the looks just as the 17" do with the Ls430.

So I'll put it my wish list. I'd love to get an 08 Ls460L and put the 19" the 5 spoke sport wheels on them. Can't really buy car like I used to since I now have a mortgage now so I'll have to rough it in my paid off 2001 LS430 with 80K miles

Snapped a few shots..

Good review. Short and to the point and you were humble and saying how improved the LS 460 is over our LS430. LOve your insight, you sold me on the car. HAHAHAHA!! LGNM

In 60 k when the ol LS is ready for a new home it will be in my price range. Then knock on wood I will have 175k trouble free miles.

Interesting review. If I did a lot of highway driving, it would definitely be a greaat car to own. The LS460 is not the car for me - mainly because I prefer more conservative styling and its a bit too large for my needs.
