If you do the tweeters soon i will be forever greatful lol. I need some newer better ones, my ML ones get distorted too easily listening to death metal....

yeah +1 on tweeters. i blew mine listening to the Offspring. I will update after I do some research on the tweeters. I want to make sure they will match the power of the ML tweeters so the system will be properly balanced. i been super busy last couple of weeks so i havent had a chance to update this or to even touch my car other than repairing the sub

Great write up. Thanks to you I was able to remove my torn sub and replace with a different one. Id be interested in your repair kit for the ML sub. Can I get pictures?

Great write up. I have a question about the sub I want to remove my sub and ad my own sub with an amp just for it and no longer usE my ML sub which wires do I use as my input to my amp?

thats cool. one question then, i have a set of cambria component speakers. can i just replace the factory speakers or do i have to be careful to match them closer to factory?

things you need to consider...

1. crosover- a) if the cross over takes away greater range you will be missing some frequecy levels which will make your car sound "odd" if you rearrly looking for proper sound. b) if the crossover does not remove enough lower frequency, you will blow them as soon as you turn up the stereo, same thing if you have no crossovers on them.
2. Impedance- If impedance is different, tweeters will be too quiet or too loud and throw off the whole balance of the stereo.
3. From what i read, i think you need to pull the dash out to get to one of the tweeters
