God hates my bumper... it's true.
*Breaking News*
We don't have a camera in our lot but the business next door DOES! Their driveway is in a position where, if they have a camera on that driveway, it just might have gotten the whole thing on tape. They are checking with their IT guy tomorrow and, if there is footage that I can use, they will let me check it out on Monday. I'll update you guys on Monday. I hope it's a stranger and not one of our employees or owners... that will make for some awkward break room moments.

If it's a newer designed system (that hopefully was desgined w/recording) they most likely are using a DVR and it can be designed with nearly infinite parameters (several months+ worth) of recording before running out of hard drive space (storage).
GOOD LUCK!!!
Word. Thanks for the info. I asked about how long they store tapes/data and the owner said that was not an issue; they back it up and keep it for years, apparently. The only question is whether there is a camera pointing in the right direction and if they got anything useful. This could end very well for me and very badly for someone else.
