If I recall correctly, only the Ultra Luxury package comes with factory water-repelling glass. Can someone confirm?

The qualifier here is that my car was waxed yesterday and hers is in need of a wash...
Did you clay bar (correctly) the entire paint surface on your car? Either you didn't do it correctly or you skipped the clay bar.

On the Navigator..... just because the car is new doesn't mean the paint is clean. That car could have been built 6 months ago and sat outside for all that time. It sounds like it needs clay bar, then a complete detail. Ford paint will never be 100% smooth unless you wet sand, then re-clear, then wet sand again. It is full of orange peel and is generally cheap, thin and fairly hard in nature.

Interesting.. thanks. No, I haven't clayed either yet. I was just checking it out. In San Antonio we have the Oak pollen everywhere so my freshly waxed paint has a green hue. Once the pollen is gone (about another two weeks) I will do it. Thanks again for your input.

I wouldn't wax windows, clay maybe, but not wax, will chap your wipers prematurely and reduce its effectiveness.

Rain X and your golden.
