Default Interior Dash Lighting

I have an 01 LS430 UL and was wondering if anyone changed the interior dash lights on the clock, climate controls, and radio from that outdated green color to something brighter like white to match the speedometer lights. If so please post up pics. Thanks.

i have taken apart the radio and various illuminated buttons to replace burned out bulbs. you will not be able to find after market bulbs to replace them they are special mini bulbs built into specified sockets. however they have a green condom on them that makes them output a green light. so if you removed the green condom i am sure you would get a whiter light output, but i dont know if it would match the spedometer lights since those are ultra white. you can give it a shot by popping out the temp control button just to the right of your steering wheel using a butter knife, and remove the bulb and you can see the green condom there on there pretty tight so you would probably need a razor blade to remove it. put the bulb back in and see what the color output is like. worst case scenario the color is not as you tought it would be and order another bulb from the dealer there ten bucks i think. good luck
