Default LS 430 Link System

Ok, so i recently purchased an 2001 lexus that has the link system. I have heard that they are no longer active? however does this mean i disregard what it says when i start the car? as far as it tells me there is a lexus link system error however car is running great. when i called dealership they said they do not deal w lexus link systems anymore? Someone please elaborate on this, Thank You

there is nothing wrong with your car, if you listen to what the prompt says - There is a lexus link error, again nothing wrong with your car, the cars have changed from an analog system to digital ... so if you go to the dealer there will be a small fee to give you a new sunglass holder w/o the lexus link system and they disconnect the "lexus link" system -- so no more annoying prompt!
