Smile data system controllers

What are the pros and cons of the data system controllers for the air suspension? Longevity/Reliability/Ride Quality...just need some input. Thanks.

well, i could speak on this all day long as a matter of fact. however i don't feel like typing that much.

bottom line: get it, BUT I RECOMMEND NOT MOLESTING YOUR height sensors on your own trying to make the car go even lower via using tools to adjust the cars height sensors rods.

even in japan they have a big disclaimer about these controllers not working 100% and they are no longer even fully sanctioned if at all, mine works good about 90% of the time. i think the stock air suspension wasn't ever designed to be 100% even on all 4 corners,, you may have heard of the UL ganster lean, well i am constantly trying to fight it and i am loosing.

longevity for me is 1+ years without any issues.

reliability about 90% of the time, but i can usually get it back in line by messing with it for a few minutes if it does get a little out of whack.

ride quality: on the lowest drivable setting (which is limited btw) it is a little bouncy and stiff, but i ride on a setting softer than this just about all day everyday and when i do raise it back up although it gets a little softer and more floaty i really miss the lower more responsive setting. i really hope it is not putting to much added stress on my suspension components but i can take corners noticeably faster when lowered down on my dd setting of 8 (second lowest drivable height). with low pro tires at this setting it actually feels a lot more like a bmw in the driving feel/ response, well compared to stock at least

hope this helps a little, and i found some answers when being in your shoes 1.5 years ago but not nearly as much as i would like, so good luck getting info on it. btw x2 the diy install of it on this site by airtime was superb.

have had mine for about 2 weeks now. mine doesnt get out of whack but i guess i havent had it long enough. when i know im going to be on smooth road i go to my lowest riding setting. not bad if there arent any big obstacles. i have a low setting for highway which is a little higher but still eliminates wheel gap. then i have stock height for when i dont wanna worry about bumps. cant comment on reliability issues since i've only had it for a little while but im sure riding real low all the time will mess up the shocks.
