I'm currently in the market for some wheels for my LS 430 too.... I was leaning toward 20" but I dont want to sacrifice my ride quality. After looking at you car with 19" I may lean toward that size. What size tires are you using for those wheel? And how is the ride on those coil overs?
20's on the LS is the way to go.

I had 20's with 30 series tires and it didn't feel any different than my 19's with 35 series tires. You'll probably be rocking 20's with 35 series tires anyway.
You can still will look low depending on your drop but with more ground clearance than with 19's.

... the ride on the coilovers. I have no complaints. Compared to my previous cars that I had on coilovers... the ride is very smooth...
