Default Key Battery?

My key fob seems to be losing power, is there a battery inside that is serviceable?

Both the smartaccess and the regular fob have batteries. They open a little differently. The "regular" key opens by removing the little screw on the back side of the key. You then pull the pieces apart and you'll see the battery compartment. The Smartaccess opens a little differently. Do a search on the DIY tab and you'll see a link for replacing the battery.

Thank you for the info.
I don't see any DIY tab for additional info.
Will take it apart, find battery and hope to find a replacement at Radio Shack.
Thanks again!
Any problem with losing key data during battery transfer?

No. You won't lose any programming when you remove the battery.
