Default LS430 Owner from U.K

hi everybody hope everyone is ok.

i have been a member on this site for a while now and also have been browsing for some time before that. i have a few queries that i was wondering if people can help me with.

basically i have an 04 grey ls430 which is totally standard atm, and instead of upgrading to a 460, i would like to change my current 430.

but obviously a 430 in the u.k is a very rare and exclusive car, and therefore so are parts.

i was basically just thinking of some nice 20" alloys and possibly the lip spoiler., i was wondering if anybody can help me out and point me in the right direction to source these parts.

Thanks for posting and welcome. You have a nice, and may I say very well maintained automobile. Having been in your country quite a bit (mostly around London) was wondering if 20" alloys will be able to take the pounding? If I am not mistaken you have some roads with quite an assortment of potholes? I have to watch out for my 18" alloys down South over here and the poor guys up North surely have it worse than me. From the appearance of your automobile a bent alloy would certainly hurt.

hi mate, u are right about the roads here, they are shocking. but the thing is the ls430 is very rarely used. we have owned it since november 07 and have yet to 10k miles in it. the only times it is used is when we are going on a family outing. weddings parties or anywhere as a family. usually goes to London which is around a 450 mile round trip. thats where the majority of the 10k miles has been done, so i feel we can get a way with it. i understand what u mean though, we have 2 other lexus` a 95 ls400, and a 97 300sport along with a honda accord. Acura tsx around ure ways and they get used mostly. the ls is the special occasion car, cheers.
