i just know the few times i've gotten a new es ((07 (don't recall that well),08 (very cold), & 09 (even colder than 08) as a loaner they were pretty chilly. i couldn't even use them on full cool in the middle of july when it was 96 degrees out. i too purchased the ls this winter and haven't had a warm enough day out yet to test the ls's seat cooler or what not, but it seems as though i will be disappointed when i do...

 

Oh, you will be disappointed. They don't even cool well in the winter. The ES is 1000x better in this regard.

 

the LS cooled seats are more of a refrigerated sensation not a fan. they work great. much better than in the IS for sure. the ES is a joke of a car compared to the LS.

 

Not sure when we were comparing whole automobiles, but my original point is that the cooling seat feature in the latest gen of ES puts the LS430's to shame.
