Default Maint Req'd display

Does anyone know how to determine what is triggering the 'Maint Reqd' display on the dash? All the indicators in the Maintenance menu are green.

There must be some secret sequence to show more detail on the display. How is the display reset? Nothing in the maintenance menu clears it.

...you must take it in to the dealer to find out the isssue unless, the setting for your next service was set in the system and it is alerting you of your next service. Other than that if its in the dash it can be either a minor/major issue the cars computer has detected or a false alarm. My signal went of 4 years ago because of the aftermarket tires I had on my car were activating my sensors.

Take it in to find out what the issue is to ease your mind because if the dash dislays what you have said it has, the only way to find out is via the dealership! Sure its no big deal, don't worry!

It goes off every 5000-6000 miles.

Please read over your manual, or the FAQ thread on top of the forum for reset instructions.
