This is my first post and I just wanted to introduce myself to everybody. My name's Lewis and I've been around Lexus cars for a couple of years now, it's the only make my parents have bought since I was in H.S. so I've had the pleasure of driving several different models. Lately though, I have not been driving my car and my mothers LS430 has sort of become my daily driver. I've driven this car quite a bit and have grown to like it so much that I'm considering buying it off of her in a year or so.
So I signed up on here, hoping to learn more about the LS in general and to see if it's really what I want.

Glad to be here guys!

If you've been driving it for a while now, you should know if this is the vehicle you want or not. I feel that if you want a very reliable, nice, quiet, luxurious cruiser for enjoying, then the LS is it. It's not pretentious, and actually comes off as being a "grandpa" car... so people are usually caught off guard when you step on the gas at a light and pass them before they even shift their feet.
BMW are drivers cars for just pure "racing" enjoyment, but then are not particularly good cruisers. MB may have the "better name" in terms of "Snob Factor" but is probably the worst Luxo brand and purely survives on past reputation.
There's a reason that your parents have been driving Lexus' since you've been in H.S. It's because they're smart and know what's a good thing.
