lexus that can't be repaired
I have a lexes 430-2006 that i purchased 1 month ago and found that there was a problem with the heating and air conditioning. the cabin is ether to hot or to cold. I brought the car in to the certified service shop that is selling new lexus and I was told that it was in spec. I asked what the spec was and was told 5 degrees of the set temperature. I told them that's hard to believe that a car company that is so proud of it's quality and climate control would stand for that kind of leeway of a wild spec. I believe my 10 year ford van has a better spec for it's climate control. I have come to the conclusion that the mechanics that work on these cars are not ready for this type of sophistication. they are still and really are grease monkeys that can change the tires and oil, but when it comes to electronics they have no idea. the computer in these car just baffles them and they would rather call you stupid than obtain the knowledge to repair the problem. this lexus is being returned as driving it is not worth toucher. Let the next person who buy's it also come to the conclusion that lexus is not the luxury car company that it claims. The company did not stand by it's product just like the now famous american car companies that are almost all gone. I only hope that after they have screwed enough of us that a cyber attack takes place and brings the company to it knees to say that you can't screw with us. we are young and we are strong and will take them down. if you are going to claim that you take pride in what you build stand behind those words, don't just say it to make a sale, or we will come after you. so let the cyber attacks begin and let these companies know that we have the power and they should treat us as a valuable asset as we purchase there cars and are not saps that they have tricked into purchasing there bad designs and untrained personal to treated us like fools from the so called customer service that is run by rude inexperienced humans that should be on a bread line or better yet in a dark ally graveling through dumpsters looking for some kind of nourishment so they can suffer through one more day of pain and remember how they got there, screwing people and not doing there job of helping of which they were hired to do. So it comes down to this if you have a lexus that has a electrical / computer problem you are screwed, ether sell it fast of burn it, but you will get no help from lexus.
Let me get this straight....
you buy a second hand Lexus, take it to a non-dealer tree share mechanic, they aren't able to fix a technical problem and you want to take Lexus down because of your AC issue?
Have you taken it to the dealer? Is it still under warranty? does this happen in all modes, or just Auto mode?

NO I purchased a lexus that was checked out by a lexus dealer and was told it was perfect. Then when I find a problem in the climate control, (cabin getting to hot and then to cold) and when I bring it back to the dealer's service dept that told me the car was perfect, and then being told the 5 degrees is with in spec I have a problem with that. there is no way any car manufacture would make a climate control with that kind of spec. which I know is not true I have owned a lexus for the last 6 years and I know how it operates. So when I decide to get a new car I decided on a lexus LS-430. It's not that I don't like technology, i use technology every day in my field. I don't like being told lies because they don't have the technical ability to repair/find a problem that is electronic. If they are going to sell a car like this they should train there service dept people to be technical savvy and not run away from a difficult problem. so if they are not technical savvy a cyber attach should be easy and may teach them and other company's that if there's a problem lets fix it.
I hope this post makes others think before the decide to buy a lexus, if there is a problem with the on board computer you ether have to live with it or get rid of it, but no help will come from lexus, (1-800-25 lexus) my lexus is going to the dealer to be traded in so that it can **** off some one else and make another enemy of lexus.
