Hello Everyone.

I recently purchased an 04 LS430 Luxury Package and want to install sirius satellite radio on the touchscreen. I purchased the DEI TOYSC1 module as well as the regular sirius scc1 kit. Do i still have to purchase a Vaistech SoundLinQ SL2s? What exactly will this soundlinq device do for me? Thanks.

Welcome to CL.

Well you must use the DEI universal tuner box also with the TOYSC1. It sounds like you have everything you need (SCC1 + TOYSC1).

You should read up on DEI website on what you purchased.

Thanks for the welcome. I really love this car. I understand what the two components i already have are for. i just dont understand why it seems to me that the vaistech component is the same thing as the TOYSC1 DEI component. can someone just explain the difference and advise if the vaistech is really needed, or is it a better alternative to the TOYSC1?? Any help is appreciated so i can get my sirius up and running.

 

anyone have an answer for me? noob here just trying to figure out the right way to setup my sirius the first time. can anyone help me out here?
