20" Wheel Options, What to do???
In case you aren't aware I have recently purchased an 04 LS430 and have been modifying it like crazy. Click here... https://www.clublexus.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=361490 to view the original thread, and note that there have been a few minor changes. I have recently purchased some 20" LSportline Model IV Wheels, they are chrome and staggered.
They aren't perfect so I have been doing some homework about getting them re-done. I'm looking for opinions from you guys as to what to do with the wheels...
1. Keep them Chrome
2. Keep the lips Chrome and Powdercoat the face black
3. Powdercoat the whole wheel black
4. Color Chrome the whole wheel in Black Chrome
5. Any other ideas/suggestions are welcome....
Thanks in advance for all the feedback... I intend on doing this asap.

I just picked up my wheels at "WRS"(wheel repair specialists) and saw the "black chrome" display wheel.... very cool. I think with the style of your ride I would have to agree with "another ls's" suggestion. black chrome and leave the lips alone. but then again, all black chrome with your blacked out ride would look pretty tight.

Just to clarify....
Thanks to all you guys input so far.... I'm taking them to Houston this Friday although I still don't know which way to go just yet. In case I didn't make it clear... the wheels need work regardless. All four of them have some curb rash, one has a slight bend (but it still holds air) and the chrome on all of the wheels is flawed in one way or another. Don't get me wrong, they are nice wheels but the LSportlines were originally manufactured in late 90's and early 2000's. I believe these are actually from 2000 - 2001 according to the original owner, so they are already pretty old for wheels. They will be in the works for about 2 weeks before they are complete. Keep the opinions coming....

Let the unveiling begin!
OK, so here's what I decided on. Nothing really out of the ordinary but I liked the way the finish product looked. I was really torn between this and the Black Chrome because it really does look hot. After I talked to Majid at Atlas Plating he said that all chrome (traditional or color finished) will eventually flake, peel, bubble, rust, or delaminate! He highly recommended the powdercoat face, polish lip combination for the best everyday use and overall life of the wheel. As an added bonus, you can polish the lip to be almost as shiny as Chrome with no rust issues or peeling! The next plan of attack is to lower it. I don't have a UL so the DataController isn't an option. I'm just having some LSportline Springs installed to compliment the LSportline Wheels. Tell me what you think.

The sidewall of the tires looks thicker than normal. What size tires are you running?
Definitely a drop is needed. Once that's done, it will look more complete. I'm torn on the look of the car. On one hand it looks good, on another, something on the car is bothering me, maybe the combination of the black grill with chrome or not enough chrome or not enough black. Right now, I think it has an identity crisis. But that's just me
PS: I do like how the red calipers peeks out of the wheels. Did you swap the rotors out with x-drilled?

A Closer Look...
Here's an answer to some of the questions...
The LSportline Springs are supposed to lower it 1.5" I already have them, I just need to find the time to install them. It's about a 4 hour job and then a new alignment.
The tires are Falken F-451 (Predecessor to the F-452) and they are 285/30 and 255/35 - I chose the fat tire set up because I travel in my car regularly.
The rotors have been upgraded to Cold Forged Cadmium Coated Cross Drilled Rotors and Akebono Performance Pads.
This is a close up of the rear wheel....
