Default Report for Lexus on fire

This is the investigation report on 2001 LS 430, I did send a complete report to Lexus @Torrance on1-14-2008 (Thank you for submitting this to me. I have forwarded it to our engineering staff to review. Once they are able to respond to me I will get back to you.) But, no response since. Anyway here is the conclusion.

Impact General, Inc. was retained to inspect the subject vehicle for fire and
causation.

CONCLUSIONS

This subject vehicle sustained an under-hood engine compartment fire originating at the front of the engine at, or near, the cooling fans. Electrical wiring was shorted and started a fire consuming components, which were located forward the engine assembly causing heavy engine compartment damage.
If you want the complete report, just email me and I'll send it to you. There's some parts missing per report was due to car burned and all plastic melted to the ground and police was unable to get them off the road. Those pieces are still on the road even now.

I still don't know how could this happen, was hoping Lexus to give me a possible reason. All these days, i did a lot of car research, Lexus still is the better choice.

Was there any recent repairs or maintenence done? Can be cause by human error also when someone was replacing a radiator or something related to the area, headlamps, fans, stating that it was started from around that area. I have also seen a bad alternator caught on for also. Alot of posssibility, but thats a one in a million.

No repair in recent one year, all maintenance done in dealer. Was in perfect condition prior to the incidence. The wire shorted should be from temperature gauge. All info had been posted on 11-27-07. Even Lexus could not explain this, as they were unable to give me an explanation, and they knew which dealership I went for all services.
