Didn't know 22's would actually fit - they are large - I like them. I also like your painted calipers. Mine are red up front and black in back. I may do my rears as yours look good. The 2" drop (photoshop) is pretty severe - don;t see how you could drive it like that. I have a 2" drop on mine and it is tough to get around town at times. Welcome to CL bro.

Default thinking about 22" wheels for '06 LS430

Thinking about putting 22's on a 2006 LS430. Anyone have that? Any problems driving? What kind of tires?
Don't want too many problems driving on 22's. Still looking for a nice ride.
If u have pics, would love to see. Thanks for any advice.

i'm guessing you when with 265 30 22...??? looks good...that is what we like down here in miami....I want to put 22 on my wife 03 ls430 but been looking for some rims that are light weight, maybe a 3 piece wheel. How much do you think each of your rims weight??? The 22 i have on my Lincoln town car weight about 100 each.

Are you looking for weight of the wheel alone or with tires. For the lightest weight and strength, you may want either forged or magnesium. Having heavy wheels on each corner (unsprung weight) have a drastic effect on how the car perform though the LS is a pretty big car and you may notice it less. Forged or Magnesium 22" I would guess it would be in the 25 to 35lbs a wheel range (still pretty heavy) then you add in tire weight.
