Shape of Oil Pan
Guys,
Did a search but couldn't find anything on this so excuse me if it's already been answered. In temp living up in Minnesota but am strongly considering getting an oil pan heater that gets attached to the oil pan by epoxy. I don't have access to a lift, and the outside temp is a bit cool, for me to go underneath and drop the shield to check it out.
Can anyone tell me if the pan bottom has a flat area about 4" x 5" that I could epoxy the pad heater to? I know that many pans these days are formed in various shapes and angles so wanted to check before I order.
